Student who wish to pursue Honors, High Honors, and Highest Honors in Environmental Studies must meet the following criteria, in addition to the standard major requirements:

• Have a GPA of 3.65 or greater both overall and in all courses that count towards the ES major;
• Declare their intention to pursue Honors during their junior year;
• Complete the Honors Seminar (V36.0950) during their senior year (it is usually offered in the spring semester).

Honors will be given to students who meet these criteria. High honors will be given to students who perform very well in the Honors Seminar. Highest honors will be given to students who perform exceptionally well in the Honors Seminar. The specific performance criteria will be detailed in the Honors Seminar.
